Any insights, photos, web sites or books about Jarbidge would be helpful and much appreciated.

: REPLY FROM DAVID A. WRIGHT:
: As for books, try NEVADA GHOST TOWNS & MINING CAMPS by Stan Paher; TOURING NEVADA: A HISTORIC AND SCENIC GUIDE by Mary Ellen and Al Glass; THE COMPLETE NEVADA TRAVELER, published annually by David W. Toll (I believe he has a website). Also try looking at the State of Nevada website for further links.

: Two books come to mind, Ghosts of the Glory Trail and Soveriegns of the Sage by Nell Murbarger both have chapters on Jarbidge.

: Thank you for reading this.

: : My father hunted the Jarbidge area in the late "50,s" and own,s a lot there. My son and I have been there the last few summers and have spoken with Helen wilson a number of times.
: She currently resides in San Diego during the summer and get,s up to Jarbidge for a couple months in the summer.
: Very interesting person to talk to if you can catch her there as she was one of the early "croud" there ( although she was only 6 mos. old at her arrival in 1909).
